Deanie Deal graduated form East Texas State University with a bachelors degree in Psychology and Special Education. She taught school for many years before returning to her love of raising and exhibiting animals. She lives in Pilot Point, Texas with her childhood sweetheart and husband of 37 years, Dennis Deal. Deanie raises and shows cutting horses and has recently added the sport of conformation dog shows to her life. She and her husband are owned by and American King Shepherd named Freeman.
