Linda has been involved with dogs most of her life as an owner and supporter of animal rights. She first learned of the American King Shepherd in 2004 and has owned Kings since early 2005. She and her family have bred Kings Shepherds through Starfire King Shepherds since 2006. Her dogs have been shown at American Rare Breed Association, North American Kennel Club and King Shepherd breed club events. As a member of the Humane Society and the ASPCA she continues to support animal rights and rescue. She was born in New York and currently lives with her husband, children and pets in New Jersey.

Dr. Mary Wakeman, DVM graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in zoology from the University of Wisconsin; and later earned a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ohio State University college of Veterinary Medicine. She now owns and operates the Ashford Animal Clinic in Connecticut as a Veterinarian and an Usi-Gray Reiki level II advanced practioner. Mary has been a breeder and exhibitor of Champion Pulik for over 35 years
Deanie Deal graduated form East Texas State University with a bachelors degree in Psychology and Special Education. She taught school for many years before returning to her love of raising and exhibiting animals. She lives in Pilot Point, Texas with her childhood sweetheart and husband of 37 years, Dennis Deal. Deanie raises and shows cutting horses and has recently added the sport of conformation dog shows to her life. She and her husband are owned by and American King Shepherd named Freeman.
Karla Roberts brings over twenty-five years experience in training performance animals with her to the AKSA,INC. She has trained numerous top winning World Class Cutting Horses. She trained with the world famous, late Bill Freeman, NCHA Top Winning Professional Cutting Horse Trainer and Rider. She also managed the state of the art barn and cutting facility which will be of benefit to her as our Treasurer.
Daniel Rosa has been involved in the dog fancy for over thirty years. He is a master groomer and a top winning professional handler. Mr. Rosa has handled several dogs to number one positions in many different dog show venues. In addition to exhibiting dogs, he was the breeder of many Champions. Additionally, Daniel has sat on the boards of many dog breed clubs and has a vast knowledge on managing organizations to their success.
Denisa Fleck is a busy wife and mother of three children. She lives on a farm in Texas where she raises donkeys, Shetland sheep, Polled Hereford cattle, and American King Shepherds. She has been an avid exhibitor of her dogs since 2005 and has had two King Shepherds to become the number one King in the country. Denisa has an extensive background in biology and animal husbandry. She has sat on many volunteer and Non-profit boards and hopes her experiences will benefit the dog community as a whole.
